It shows the reality of the world and what it must have been like or even is for a lot of children in poverty stricken countries. There is no shame in what the movie portrays. If anything it gives others a perspective of some harsh realities and makes humans as a whole ashamed that we could act in these ways. It really gave me some perspective on India since my travels to Bangalore. Turning a blind eye and ignoring what has and is happening does not make you, your country or mankind any better! Taking action to change these behaviors in the world, that is something we should all do if you really want to be proud. I'm a chinese born in NZ with no allegiances to any country - be a patriotic HUMAN BEING! This was a fantastic movie!
